Screebo goes live!

As is quite the norm with a lot of programmers. I have the odd idea from time to time.
Some of them not so great like the idea of a borderline illegal automated ponzi scheme website and a site for those looking to swap pets.
Some of them are a bit better but massively unobtainable on my own like the idea of a web-based massively multiplayer empire management game.
Screebo stuck in my head though. It started as a book while on holiday. I started reading Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time. I was impressed by his style of narrative and the way he built up complicated ideas by virtually telling a story. In work, I use a similar story when trying to mentor a developer on a new idea. It's also the way I learn most effectively.
I have, in my time, tried to learn from coding texts and found them to be dry and a flood of information. They generally try to bombard you with everything on a particular area before systematically moving on and flooding you with another. Think of it as trying to get all of your 3 meals and toilet visits in at the start of the day because that would be the most efficient way of conducting your life.
Screebo is an attempt to counter this method of teaching; My prime guinea pig is my mildly techno-phobic wife. She is exactly my type of audience I would aim for. She is intelligent, patient and utterly unaware of even the basics of coding. Who knows, by the time I'm done she may be helping code parts of this site? I have unashamedly tried to emulate the style of Stephen Hawking and make no apologies. Whether I have succeeded or not I leave you to judge.
